Combining two most popular technologies in structural studies, X-ray crystallography and NMR, the Structural Biology Group has built a flexible yet efficient platform to support FBDD/SBDD services. We address different needs of our clients by choosing either X-ray crystallography or NMR. With the help of supplementary biophysics methods, such as SPR, TSA and etc, we are known for high-quality structural information and fast turnaround time.

X-ray crystallography for FBDD/SBDD:

Antibody structural study is an important part of drug researches. The Structural Biology group has experiences in Fab/Fab-antigen complex structure determination / modeling and fine epitope mapping of antigen-antibody interaction.

Lipidic Cubic Phase (LCP) crystallization services
The amazing high resolution crystal structure of β2AR in 2007 brought LCP crystallization method to the world’s attention. Ever since then, this method has led to more and more success in the area of GPCR and membrane protein structural studies. Now we are glad to announce that LCP has been added to our capability list.Using this technique, we offer our clients highest throughput screening for membrane protein crystallization and theoretically largely increased success rate. We also offer to carry out subsequent crystal optimization, crystal handling and data collection, which are known to be very difficult in LCP system.Illustration of LCP system

In order to meet special needs for various projects, we have a well-trained dedicated protein production team. With vast knowledge and experiences, we help our clients with construct optimization based on bioinformatic analysis, troubleshooting for protein expression and purification, folding and refolding, specific labeling and etc.
