Started in 2007, ChemPartner’s Biology department specializes in drug discovery services for several key Bio-therapeutic areas: oncology, cell biology, tumor immunology, immunology/inflammation,neuroscience/metabolic disorders, histology/pathology . Our In Vitro Pharmacology team supports studies by running the hundreds of necessary assays for biology studies. Our Biology team is led by senior staff members with extensive discovery experience in the biopharmaceutical industry in the US and Europe.
We pride ourselves on having numerous validated key discovery assays and assay panels for many different targets (e.g. extensive cancer cell panel (700+), epigenetic enzyme panel, kinase panels,hERG QPatch). Many are routinely used and customized in vivo models like patients-derived xenografts, cancer cell-derived xenografts, syngeneic models, along with many CNS-related (5XFAD mice), or metabolic disease-related (e.g. Ob/Ob, db/db mice) transgenic rodent models are being run in an AAALAC approved, state-of-the-art animal housing and breeding facility.
Our highly experienced and communicative biologists provide strong intellectual input when working closely and flexibly with our clients. We provide customized designs or co-develop many of the needed in vitro & in vivo assays and disease models required to drive all discovery projects within a tight timeline. Furthermore, we are well-equipped with the latest technology platforms needed including Caliper, FACS, Luminex, Laborus, and QPatch.
Our well-coordinated, integrative services model means our medicinal chemists, DMPK, and bioanalytical scientist colleagues are all working together on the same campus. We have efficiently and successfully delivered many leads and clinical candidates with several of them currently in clinical trials.
